Wild River Triathlon Club's Dave Holden member of "Team Minnesota-2012"

Dave Holden (Hudson, WI) has been nominated this year for 2 Minnesota Multi Sport awards. After having a magnificent season with 4 race wins (Liberty Olympic, Croixathlon, St. Paul Tri, and St. Croix Valley Olympic) he was nominated for the Male Master of the Year and Most Improved Triathlete Awards.
Results of all Minnesota Multisport Awards will announced at the annual Minnesota Multisport Party on Sat. Nov. 10th. and be posted on minnesotatrinews.com.

Three Wild River Club Members Complete Ironman!!
Saturday, October 11th, three of our own completed the grueling Ironman World Championship in Kona, Hawaii. The usual hot, humid, and windy conditions were again a factor in making this one of the toughest sporting events in the world.
Dave Holden from No. Hudson,WI, finished the 140.6 mile event in 10 hrs. 53 min. and 16 seconds. John Sosniecki of River Falls,WI, finished in 11:38:22, and Mike Colaizy of Osceola, WI, finished in 13:26:58.
Last year's runner-up Craig Alexander from Australia was the overall mens winner with a time of 8 hours 17 min. and 45 seconds. Chrissie Wellington of Great Britain was the womens champ for the second straight year, with a time of 9:06:23.

Wild River members qualify for IRONMAN World!!
Three members of Wild River Triathlon club have qualified for this years Ironman World Championship ,and will be competing Saturday, October 11th. Dave Holden of North Hudson, WI, John Sosniecki of River Falls, WI, and Mike Colaizy of Osceola, WI have all worked hard to meet their ultimate goal in the sport of triathlon.
